Prom was great! It was possibly the most fun I've ever had in high school. I put a bunch of pictures of on facebook. So if anyone would like to see them, they can add me as a friend if they havn't already done so, and check out the album.
A brief summary goes thus... Left the house at 4:30 to my beautiful date's (goodiex2xshoes) house. We took a bunch of pictures, and then headed out to Tripps for dinner. Then we decided we should leave to leave at 7:45 to show up for the 7:30 prom. It turned out though that we arrived there the same time as most people. We met up with the Hostetters, the Hershbergers, and a bunch of other people there, and had a blast! We tried about everything, from ballroom dancing, to white boy dancing (no there are no pictures of that), to line dancing. It was great, and the almost 2 and a half hours went by very quickly. So after it was over a bunch of us headed over to the Prousalis house for some scrumptious delectables and to watch Night at the Museum (seemed like a popular movie for the night). Eventually I  headed home and pulled in around 3:30 and was on the coach and asleep in about 10 minutes.

Thus ended a amazing night.

In other news... I'm officially requesting my postponement of enrollment to Christopher Newport for one academic year so I can do some missions work for a year. I'm looking into an opportunity in Chili with YWAM.

An essay on a duck

While many learned professors have abandoned hope of ever discovering the truth behind a duck, I for one feel that it is still a worthy cause for examination. At first glance a duck may seem unenchanting, however its study is a necessity for any one wishing to intellectually advance beyond their childhood. Until recently considered taboo amongst polite society, it is yet to receive proper recognition for laying the foundations of democracy. Often it is seen as both a help and a hinderence to the upper echelons of progressive service sector organisations, who form the last great hope for our civilzation. With the primary aim of demonstrating my considerable intellect I will now demonstrate the complexity of the many faceted issue that is a duck.

Social Factors

Society is a human product. When Thucictholous said 'people only know one thing' [1] he could have been making a reference to a duck, but probably not. A society without a duck is like a society without knowledge, in that it demonstrates a coherent approach, something so lacking in our culture, that it is not recognised by all.

When one is faced with people of today a central theme emerges - a duck is either adored or despised, it leaves no one undecided. It is intrinsically linked to adolescent inner acclimatisation.

Economic Factors

The dictionary defines economics as 'the social science concerned with the production, distribution, exchange, and consumption of goods and services'. We will primarily be focusing on the Watkis-Teeth-Pulling model. Taking special care to highlight the role of a duck within the vast framework which this provides.
Housing
Prices

Ducks

It is apparent from the graph that the influence of a duck is strong. What is the secret to its strength? My personal view is that housing prices will eventually break free from the powerful influence of a duck, but not before we see a standardised commercial policy for all. What it all comes down to is money. Capitalists love a duck.

Political Factors

The media have made politics quite a spectacle. Comparing international relations since the end of the century can be like observing chalk and cheese.

It is always enlightening to consider the words of nobel prize winner Aaron Woodpecker 'You can lead a horse to water, big deal.' [2] Considered by many to be one of the 'Founding Fathers' of a duck, his words cannot be over-looked. If a duck be the food of politics, play on.

One thing's certain. The Human species liberally desires a duck, and what's more human than politics?

Conclusion

In my opinion a duck has a special place in the heart of mankind. It establishes order, puts out 'fires', and it is human.

Let's finish with a thought from star Mariah Morissette: 'I wouldn't be where I am today without a duck.' [3]

Yea I thought that would be fun. I found this essay generator http://radioworldwide.gospelcom.net/essaygenerator/essay.php that can take any word and make an "essay" out of it. As you can see if you read it, it's a whole bunch of gobliy gook and big words.  It's fun though. They also have some other fun stuff on the website. Some of them are used as outreach devices which is really neat.

So I feel like I havn't posted anything on her in a long time. Probably because I haven't posted on here in a long time.  I'm not sure where to start if I'm wanting to catch everyone up. Hmm how about a list! I like lists, nice, short, and to the point.

-Went to Lancaster, PA for Grandparents 50th Anniversary and had a grand ol' time riding in a horse drawn buggy, playing soccer in the snow, and running with Jesse (my only older cuz) and Jamie on the Amish country size. We also discovered that the Amish at this place owned cell phones and the teens have battery powered boom boxes in the back of their buggy and fuzzy dice on the mirrors. Go figure.

- WooHoo! Only 22 days of school left! Thats not counting a week in Florida for Senior Trip, a Choir trip to New York, A few random days off like next Friday for Prom, and then the dreaded weak of exams that I managed to convince my teachers to let me
out of.

- I've had a few plans fall through for going abroad next year, but I'm looking at Chili right now.

Ok this list idea isn't working so well, I can't remember all that's been happening. Its gone from my memory. Well this has been my attempt at a post. Hope it pleases everyone more then the "yes?" did, but thank you for all the comments in response to that. Oh, and I had a few people ask me what that was about so for anyone else who wanted to know I was talking to someone (goodiex2xshoes) and somehow, I don't remember exactly how it happened, but I said something about not knowing what to post and she said yea? so I put that. Simple and random as that. And the pink... I have no idea, in this editor it looks black, but somehow with my layout which Kim White generously did for me it turns out pink.

yes?

Tuesday, February 13, 2007

Ok I got home late, and didn't have time to explain. So basically revival broke out in my school last week, and we had a number of people accept the Lord as their Savior and then what seemed like half the school recommitted their life to Jesus. Then at the end the entire high school came together and re-established the school as Richmond Christian School and that the Christian part was not just part of the name. It was amazing, the kind of week that you know man couldn't pull off, and that God had his hand in it in everyday.

I was going to elaborate on the week, but I don't have much time now either, I have some stuff to do at the school. Hope everything is going well for everyone.
